I love English. When I was eight, my mother sent me to an English school. At there, I played games and sang English songs with other children . I also often read English following the tapes and watch English cartoons at home. By talking with English people, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English. Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world. It makes me confident and brings me great pleasure.

I hope I can travel around the world someday and introduce China to them in English, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and so on. Of course, I want to go to London , because England is where English language developed.

I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well.

英语在小学阶段是比较重要的一门学科，也是今后学习初中英语的基础。如果现在不学好英语，那将来的英语学习是很难想象的。现在小学英语是比较难的，所以我们只有现在打好良好的基础，才不会导致英语越学越难、越学越差。家长都很关心自己子女的学习。学生们在三年级时都在同一起跑线上起跑的，经过一年多的学习，学生与学生之间已经拉开了差距。一些好的学生学习兴趣浓，学习劲头足，课堂上积极思维，踊跃发言，课后及时巩固，形成了良性循环的好势头。他们的学习习惯好，在听、说、读、写方面都能齐头并进，我为他们感到欣慰。可也有一些学生，平时学习马虎，基础不扎实，导致他们现在课上听讲出现困难，用他们自己的话说：“上课我听也听不懂。”听不懂，还不努力，书面作业拖拉不交，口头作业根本不完成，如此一来，学习英语自然成了件头痛事，麻烦事。

在具体的实施过程中发现：有些学生根本不用心学，能偷懒则偷懒，很多家长比较负责会查问有没有教新课，要不要听写，但孩子不老实，欺骗家长。这时候，家长应该及时跟老师联系。

有的学生在默写单词的时候，会诱导父母：老师要求报英语，那家长就比较为难，导致有的学生不能及时完成作业。其实，我们对回家听写的要求是这样的：单词，是要求家长报中文，学生写英文。课文是要求学生自己熟读给家长听然后签名的。千万不能纵容自己的孩子说：英语好难，我写不出来，就任由他去。你让你的孩子知道：今天，你花大时间去养成好习惯，明天，你就可以更好。今天，你偷懒了一会，你明天的作业就会更多。累积下来，你就是欠债最多的人。孩子是每个家庭的重心和希望，有一位家长说过：“要把培养孩子当作自己的事业来做。”是啊，只要你多投入一点，相信你的孩子会给予你更多的回报!

1、关于单词和句子的背诵和默写。

每课的单词(单词表中打☆的单词)要求学生能听写，要求学生回家背诵并让家长给其听写。当天教，当晚背，效果要比过几天补好得多。这样课堂上听写的时候，学生就有底气，听写正确率高，也是一次小小得成功体验。久而久之，不仅打好了词汇基础，也培养了好习惯。这一点我们的大部分孩子能自觉做到并完成的很好，当然每个班级总有这样几个需要特别关注的孩子，希望家长多加以关注。

2、关于作业。

只要有英语课，必有英语作业。请对照家校联系本查看。我们有课堂作业本，听写本和抄写本(即家校联系本。英语家庭作业一般分为笔头和口头，其中回家听写和抄写单词和读课文请家长配合检查签字。

3、注意的地方

教育要一致。不管是家长内部之间，还是家长与老师之间，不管采用的方式方法如何，在学生面前，应始终是一致的。如果有建议要商讨，请直接联系。要把培养孩子当作自己的事业来做。自己管，不能将孩子学习交给老人和家教，钱不能代替家长对孩子的责任。管和不管太不一样了啊!

最后，我想说的是，我们会尽最大的努力来教好这些孩子们，同时我们也希望能够得到你们的支持和配合。我们每一位英语老师工作量是很大的，我们力量是微小的，只有有了你们的加入，才能形成家校联合的强大力量。在此，我们只是真诚地呼吁：让我们共同努力来帮助孩子学好英语，和孩子共创美好的明天。
